It is fundamental to biblical Judaism that God's people have always been required to rely totally on Him for support and protection without any outside assistance from the world. The enclosed shape of the letter alludes to the whole earth being filled with the Glory of God. To be in the presence of the Lord is fulness of Joy. (Psalm 16:10)
