As the Prophet, He was born the Creator, and more specifically, The Word of Creation. The first book in the Old Covenant, Genesis, opens with "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth". So also the New Covenant gospel of John opens with "In the beginning was The Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God". As the Creator, He is the 'witness' who would possess the words of God in His mouth. "I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren like unto me and will put my words in His mouth and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him" (Deut. 18:18)

He was born in the obscure part of the world, Bethlehem, Ephratah (Micah 5:2), was the light of Nazareth (Isaiah 9:1) and the one The Law and Prophets prophesied of who was to come. (John 1:45).

Revelation declares He is the 'Faithful Witness', 'The Amen,' " "it is true". "For the testimony of Yahshua is the spirit of prophecy" (Rev 19:10). The scriptures state that every prophet of God must die in Jerusalem which Messiah fulfilled also.

He is "that which was", as The Prophet, in the successive order of The Prophet Priest and King.
