DALET is the fourth letter in the Hebrew langauge symbolizing The Door. Its
shape is that of a door with its lintel spreading right and left and doorposts
reaching up and down. The entrance to the door for the children of Israel was
their obedience to follow His direction for fellowship with Him through the
wilderness without complaining to their Mediator Moses. Even so in the New
Covenant, Messiah is our Mediator to God the Father "For there is One God, and one
mediator between God and men, the man Messiah Yahshua, who gave Himself a
ransom for all to be testified in due time". (I Tim 2:5) Messiah states that He
is the door of the New Covenant. "I am the door of the sheep".(John 10:7) The
shepherd of Israel in the First Covenant and the Chief Shepherd of the New
Covenant are one in the same. The Right hand of God, His Holy arm of power is
seen guiding the children of Israel across the Red Sea and throughout the entire
scope of scripture culminating in the book of Revelation where the door is
open in heaven and a throne is set. Messiah takes the scroll from Him who sat
upon the throne. (Rev.4:1-3)
